This will be the first time that I haven’t written down a dream in my book that I was able to remember for the rest of the day. I woke up blinded by the light streaming in from out my window plus the light that was perfectly shining on my dried up lids from my lamp. I sat up for a moment and just thought that if I sat for a minute that I would be able to get my mind back to the beginning. I haven’t had so many jumps in a dream since I was 16.
I started in one location where we were hiding from people and then jump to another location and time in history entirely. I gave a man in a catering hall my husband’s cell phone number but it was almost impossible to have a cell phone in the 1920’s. But this happens after the next part.
I kept trying to remember the first half but was unable to get the last portion out of my head. The man speaking in the hall had gathered us together. It almost felt as if the man we were watching was also the man who we were running from at the start of the dream. We had a “victim” appear from the hallway and she was willing to give up her blood in order to catch him in his act of being a vampire. I was almost positive that she would not die for he was not one to kill someone. He was unkind and malicious but he liked to keep his meals around. I explained to the man that I was sitting with that we were about to be free of his torture in just a minute.
When she walked in, he began to speak more distantly. She grabbed his attention not only by the type of second-hand clothing that she wore, but the way she wore her hair. It was almost laughing at him and he did not like to be laughed at. He suddenly stopped speaking after a minute, called her to the center of the room to where he was speaking and asked to be excused for a moment because “apparently” she had a very important message for him. He went to a side room for a few minutes and when he returned, he dragged her back with him as if he just punished her. She looked tired but made eye contact with me and my group to let us know that the trap was set. She handed a grin, as if she were handing it off to us on a plate for demonstration, to us to show that she was OK and slumped over to show that she was under his control.
He continued with his speech about a current event that would be changing our way of thinking and before he could continue, he excused himself again with his new pet. This time he was not hiding. This time he brought her around to a set of french doors that had very low lighting and very nice lace curtains. The entire hall was lined with french doors all around with the same lighting and the very same colored lace. He ravished her neck in such a way that the entire hall was not able to turn away. Women gasped and screeched in horror. Men began to speak to the guards in the halls to order his arrest. Apparently it was known that vampires existed but not tolerated. As to what would happen to him after the arrest, I have no idea. I simply looked around the room and it was clearing out slowly. I saw that my group was celebrating silently, for we were not from this time but were simply glad to be alive. I walked out to the hallway where people were grabbing refreshments and speaking of what just occurred. I walked over to the refreshment area, which had a beer tap that was part of the wall and had very old looking tap spouts. I wasn’t sure how it worked, so I asked the lady that was speaking with other people right next to it.
"You just have to press the button and it comes out.", smiling to show how delightful the beer was in her hand. I grabbed a glass, pressed one out of the five copper buttons and the beer came out in the correct speed. I slowly sipped it and then quickly was outside walking down what seemed to be a main street, still in the 1920’s era. As we were walking around, my husband was looking to see where he could find work. We stopped and ordered a slice of pizza from a place where you could walk over to the window and order it. The man seemed nice but he didn’t make small talk. My husband began to speak Italian to the man and he was amazed that my husband could speak the language. After that he did say that he heard that my husband was looking for work and slid him a piece of paper with a number on it across the counter. We smiled at the man and walked away without paying. As we walked, I commented to him that it might take some adjusting but I think we could make it work. I made a comment stating that maybe we should carve our names into something now, so that when we are back in the future we would find it.
When I was awake, I was trying to piece together how I could have made such a jump in locations. I told myself I either have experienced this in a past life or I was going to experience it, if that even makes any sense. I haven’t written this event down but I will be thinking about it for the next couple of days.
